Michael and Trevor helped us with the design, permits and tender for our extension. We are now mid-build and have been very happy with the whole process. It feels like it has gone very smoothly and with a lot less stress than I expected. Trevor provided us with a design we liked and worked with the three planning overlays on our property. He was very patient with our many revisions and mind changes along the way. Getting the planning permit took a long time (thanks Darebin Council!) but was all handled by RFT. Having the estimator to make sure we were getting permits for something we could actually afford to build was excellent. Michael has held our hand throughout the whole process and was always ready to answer questions and explain things which was wonderful and very reassuring. The tender process and the builders recommended by RFT were great and we have been very happy so far with Kerry the builder and with the quotes we received. Michael looked through the contract for us before we signed which was also very helpful. Would definitely recommend RFT to others.

Michael’s assistance in turning a complex design with some very specific requirements into a tenderable piece of work was invaluable. In a market where builders were either unavailable or quoting well above estimate because of their level of over-commitment, RFT stuck with the process of taking feedback around the market to find builder who might be suitable. The result was an excellent builder with whom we are working very successfully.

Michael is excellent at understanding the client requirements and focusing on their delivery. He made several valuable suggestions when I had issues with my Structural Engineer and one of the Builder. He also made serious attempts to put my project on track when I lost hope during the XMas period. Michael knows affordable and professional Builders who quoted me 20% lower by removing unreasonable margins.

Michael Caleo and his team assisted me for a period of 12 months during the construction of two houses in Yarraville Melbourne.
